The Almond Tree @ The Shore Club

Location: Long Bay Beach

Ambiance: While it is not the Shore Club’s fine dining restaurant (that is Sui Ren), the Almond Tree is definitely on the significantly nicer side of casual. Modern open air courtyard setting with its lush greenery and beautiful lighting, it somehow manages to both feel romantic and also be great for groups

Best Bet for Live Music: Thursday to Sunday evenings from 6 to 9pm, more nights during high season

Recent Lineup: Janardo Laporte (Thur to Sun) with additional nights to be added as the season continues, plus guest appearances by Dwayne Thomas, Davonte Missick & Tahj Missick, Julian Garland, Gordon Lightbourne, and others

Food & Drink: creative comfort food with a Shore Club twist plus some of the best craft cocktails on the island (food + drink menus)

Happy Hour: no

Insider Tip #1: Sui Ren, the sister restaurant next door (literally there is a door that divides the two), offers 1/2 off sushi on Friday night (2 rolls for $25 from 6 - 8pm). Go to Sui Ren for an early bite and then head to Almond Tree after for live music and a cocktail

Insider Tip #2: if you have a birthday in your party be sure to let your server know - and go when Janardo is singing so they can get serenaded by one of the island’s most sought after musicians

Casual only by the very chic and Instagram-able Shore Club standards. Walk into a breathtaking indoor / outdoor open air space - with lush greenery and an imposing almond tree - the setting alone is amongst the most idyllic on the island. Many nights enjoy the smooth vocals of resident musician Janardo Laporte + others. Get dolled up or go casual chic and enjoy a lovely dinner or just pop in for nibbles and a craft cocktail in the bar / lounge area.

“Everything about our experience at Almond Tree was delightful. The staff was friendly and inviting, the cocktails were delicious, the food was amazing, and there was live music which was outstanding. It was our birthday which they celebrated with a special message on our dessert and a shout out from the musician. If you are in Provo, this restaurant is a must…definitely in our top three of the island.”

Best of the best! Gratin Normandy (French onion) soup is one of the best. Old Bay shrimp is amazing also. Meat is tender and perfectly cooked. The ambiance is spectacular!!!

Gorgeous restaurant with delicious food! Incredible place to celebrate your birthday or any special occasion! Gorgeous garden courtyard, immaculate attentive service, five-star food and lovely ambiance. Great location in Long Bay, it’s easy to park and walk right into the lobby of The Shore Club and head to the restaurant. Live entertainment and twinkly fairy lights just add to the magical atmosphere. Huge shoutout to Sherika and Kendy who made my birthday extra special and ensured my cups were never empty and I had everything I needed.”
